1. Introduction

Pawrtrait ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our iOS application ("the App").

2. Information We Collect

Anonymous Account Data: When you first open the App, an anonymous account is created automatically. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

Pet Photos: Photos you upload are stored securely on our servers (hosted by Supabase) to generate AI portraits. Photos are associated with your anonymous account ID.

Generated Portraits: AI-generated portraits are stored on our servers and associated with your anonymous account.

Subscription Data: If you subscribe to Pawrtrait Premium, purchase and subscription status is managed by Apple through the App Store and by our payment partner Superwall. We store only your subscription status (active/inactive) — we do not have access to your payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate AI art portraits from your uploaded pet photos
• To save your portraits and pets in your personal gallery
• To manage your subscription status and enforce usage limits
• To improve the quality and performance of the App

4. AI Processing

Your pet photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for portrait generation. Google processes these images according to their own privacy policies. We send only the pet photo and style instructions — no personal data is included in AI requests.

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security (RLS) enabled. Each user can only access their own data. Photos and portraits are stored in private storage buckets accessible only through authenticated, time-limited signed URLs.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties, except:

• Google Gemini AI: Pet photos are sent for portrait generation
• Superwall: Receives subscription event data for payment processing
• Apple: Manages in-app purchases through the App Store

7. Data Retention

Your photos and portraits are retained as long as your anonymous account exists. Since accounts are anonymous, we cannot link stored data to any individual. You may delete individual portraits from within the App at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since the App uses anonymous accounts and collects no personal information, it minimizes any privacy risk.

9. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete individual portraits from your gallery at any time
• Cancel your subscription through the App Store
• Contact us to request deletion of all data associated with your anonymous account

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
